The Mirror is exclusively hosting and live streaming a EU debate at LSO St Lukes in London today.
Panellists Nigel Farage, Ayesha Hazarika, John McDonnell, Andrea Leadsom, Lord Mandelson and Dreda Say Mitchell will be grilled in front of an audience of around 200, during an event which will be streamed live on Mirror.co.uk. The debate will be moderated by ITV anchor man Mark Austin.
Audience members will be mainly made up of Mirror readers who regularly comment on political stories on the brand’s website Mirror.co.uk. In the style of BBC One’s Question Time, they will be asked to contribute opinions and questions for the panel.
There will also be a social media desk adjacent to the panellists, manned by Nigel Nelson, Political Editor for the Sunday Mirror. Nigel will be keeping up with the social conversation via the hashtag #MirrorLiveEU and interject comments and questions as the debate goes on.
Post-event there will be editorial breakout stories on Mirror.co.uk capturing the key moments and plenty more in paper the next day.
The event begins at 3:30pm and is expected to end by 5pm and can be followed live on Mirror.co.uk and through Twitter via #MirrorLiveEU.
