Last week Trinity Mirror Solutions launched activity across national and regional titles to shine a light on Boots’ pharmacy services and encourage Britain to ‘ask your pharmacist’ in a content led partnership developed by Invention. Activity over a three-month period, will give Boots a platform to be an expert voice on health issues such as obesity and smoking, promoting the help and advice that the company’s thousands of pharmacists around the country can provide. A combination of campaigning, advice columns, polls, quizzes and online games will support Boots’ message that the British public should and can take control of their own health.
The partnership combines the print and digital reach of Trinity Mirror’s iconic national brands including the Daily Mirror and Daily Record, while its portfolio of regional powerhouses including Manchester Evening News, Birmingham Mail, Liverpool Echo, will deliver a consistent message throughout the UK and build in local relevance to the campaign. The campaign reach is further enhanced through Trinity Mirror Solutions recently renewed advertising sales contract with Local World, which includes prevalent local titles such as the Leicester Mercury and Nottingham Post.
Mark Field, Director of Invention said of the partnership “Boots can offer authentic, genuinely useful advice to our readers – health and wellbeing is something that’s high up on mass market Britain’s agenda. This added value for our audience is what we strive for within all our commercial partnerships.
“Our portfolio of strong newsbrands means we can help Boots speak to people at both a national and local level, emphasising the role its pharmacies play in communities all over the country.”
