Aldi launches a six month campaign with Trinity Mirror Solutions' Invention and the Telegraph’s Spark today. The partnership is part of Aldi’s two year sponsorship of Team GB and their association with the upcoming Rio Olympics 2016.
The campaign will be managed by media agency UM and will run across Trinity Mirror’s national and regional platforms from 20th February and across all Telegraph platforms from the 5th March.
With many brands seeking to capitalise on events such as the Olympics, the most successful campaigns are those that introduce new ways of reaching consumers. ‘Grow Your Champion’ is one such innovative approach which encourages families to lead healthier lifestyles and at the same time raises awareness of Aldi’s fresh British food.
This is the second time that Telegraph Spark and Invention have joined forces to provide a compelling solution for a client, following their successful ‘Knowledge is Power’ campaign for Smart Energy GB last year. The combined platforms reach 32.6m per month in the UK.
Mark Field, Invention Director at Trinity Mirror Solutions, said: “This new Aldi partnership demonstrates the increasingly progressive and collaborative approach being taken by media owners, in particular newsbrands, to deliver a consistent brand voice with the broadest possible reach for their clients. Working closely with Spark and UM, we were able to create a compelling solution for our audiences based on shared data and insight that enabled Aldi to maximise the reach of their message.”
